Udaipur Set to Become the Global Hub of the Wedding Industry: India’s First “Market Meets Mewar” Wedding Conclave to Be Grandly Hosted – Rituraj Khanna
Udaipur: The city of lakes, Udaipur, has firmly established itself not only in India but globally as one of the premier “wedding destinations.”

Rituraj Khanna, CEO of Q Events Private Limited and Chief Advisor to BCI Utsav, shared that the upcoming “Market Meets Mewar – The Wedding Conclave” will be hosted in Udaipur under the joint aegis of Business Circle International (BCI) and Q Events Private Limited. This two-day event will bring together stalwarts of the wedding industry, policymakers, and international planners on a single platform.
According to Khanna, the conclave is a unique convergence of the passion of the wedding industry and the beauty of Udaipur. Visitors will experience their dreams brought to life against the stunning backdrop of Udaipur’s lakes.
Khanna added that the goal is to create a platform where industry leaders can come together to set trends and directions for future weddings. He emphasized that Udaipur has already carved a special identity as a global wedding destination, and this conclave aims to connect local businesses with international markets.
Mukesh Madhwani, founder and chairman of BCI, explained that the conclave will serve as a milestone in giving new direction to Udaipur’s tourism and wedding industry. “Our aim is to create a strong bridge between Mewar’s culture and modern wedding business, enabling local enterprises to scale and gain international recognition,” he said.
Two-Day Event Structure
Rituraj Khanna outlined that the two-day conclave is designed to cover every important aspect of the wedding industry. The first day will focus on inspiration and new directions, while the second day will emphasize collaboration and business opportunities.
The first day will begin with a royal welcome featuring traditional Mewari rituals, tilak ceremonies, and folk music. This will be followed by a formal inauguration with a lamp-lighting ceremony and a keynote session on evolving trends in luxury weddings. Throughout the day, power-packed panel discussions will cover topics such as destination weddings, palace hotels, global venues, and the balance between experience and décor in modern weddings.
An exclusive masterclass will provide insights into working with high-profile clients and understanding the luxury wedding market. The day will conclude with a sunset soiree at a beautiful lake-facing venue, followed by a grand gala night with live entertainment, offering opportunities for informal networking.
The second day will begin with a business breakfast for selected participants to discuss and explore new opportunities. This will be followed by in-depth discussions on sustainable weddings and the global expansion of Indian weddings. Live showcases will present contemporary and futuristic wedding design trends.
The highlight of the day will be the “Deal Room,” where closed-door meetings will finalize high-value business deals and partnerships. The conclave will conclude with an awards ceremony recognizing both industry veterans and emerging stars for their outstanding contributions.
