BCI Utsav submits memorandum to Divisional Commissioner regarding Udaipur Mandapam proposal

Udaipur – In a move to develop Udaipur, the City of Lakes, into an international-level conclave hub, BCI Utsav submitted a memorandum to Divisional Commissioner Pragya Kevalramani, requesting that the proposal for “Udaipur Mandapam” be forwarded to the state government and concerned departments.

BCI Founder and Chairman Mukesh Madhavani stated that Udaipur has already become a major destination for domestic and international tourists, destination weddings, and corporate events. However, the city still lacks a world-class integrated convention center. In this context, he emphasized that establishing Udaipur Mandapam, on the lines of Bharat Mandapam and Rajasthan Mandapam, is the need of the hour.

BCI Utsav President Sanjeev Patwa explained that the proposal recommends developing a modern convention center in Udaipur as per global standards. It would include a large convention hall with a capacity of 5,000 to 10,000 people, a multi-level exhibition center, and state-of-the-art auditorium and conference halls, enabling the city to host large-scale national and international events.

Secretary Heena Pathak added that the memorandum also proposes creating a permanent exhibition area for Rajasthan’s handicrafts, handloom, and MSME products to promote local industries and strengthen the “local to global” concept.

BCI Utsav General Secretary Alok Gupta suggested incorporating advanced facilities such as AI-based systems, high-speed internet, digital entry, and live streaming, ensuring that the center meets modern technological requirements.
