Evening of Ghazals in Udaipur: Suron Ki Mandali Women’s Wing Mesmerizes Audience

Udaipur – The prestigious cultural organization Suron Ki Mandali successfully hosted a musical evening, “Sham-e-Ghazal,” organized by its Women’s Wing at Madhushree Banquet Hall, Ashoka Palace. Beginning at 5:30 PM, the event featured soulful performances by talented artists from Udaipur, captivating ghazal enthusiasts and filling the hall with melodious music.

Founder President Mukesh Madhwani stated that the primary goal of the event was to provide a platform for emerging musical talents and introduce traditional forms like ghazal to the younger generation. He emphasized the organization’s commitment to promoting the city’s rich cultural heritage through similar initiatives in the future.

Secretary Arun Chaubisa highlighted that cultural programs foster positivity in society and nurture public interest in the arts. Such events allow the younger generation to connect with music and culture. Treasurer Yogesh Upadhyay added that the organization aims to offer Udaipur’s hidden musical talents a strong platform, keeping traditional singing alive and engaging youth with this rich legacy.

Program coordinator Madhu Keleya shared that the evening featured mesmerizing performances by numerous artists:

Additionally, performances by Madhu Sharma, Mona Karwa, Gopal Gothwal, Ramesh Datwani, Geeta Singh Rathore, Mohan Soni, Jyoti Modiyani, Naresh Sharma, Madhubala, Gaurav Swarnkar, Divya Saraswat, and Sandeep Karnpuria enchanted the audience with their soul-stirring renditions, bringing the evening to a melodious and unforgettable close.

The event successfully showcased Udaipur’s vibrant musical talent and strengthened the city’s cultural legacy, leaving attendees inspired by the timeless charm of ghazals.
