Awareness Program Organized in Umarda on World Health Day

Udaipur: An impactful and informative program was आयोजित on the occasion of World Health Day at the auditorium of Venkateshwara Institute of Paramedical Sciences in Umarda. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and distinguished guests.

The program began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the institute’s Principal, Dr. Anant Prakash Gupta, and Dean Research, Dr. Bharat Parashar. This was followed by a soulful Saraswati Vandana presented by students, creating a spiritual and inspiring atmosphere.

Dr. Gupta highlighted this year’s theme, “Stand with Science, Unite for Health,” emphasizing the importance of adopting a scientific approach in today’s world. He stated that every individual associated with the healthcare sector has the responsibility to spread accurate information in society and to combat myths and misconceptions. He also stressed that a strong healthcare system can only be built through collective efforts.

The chief guest, Deputy Registrar Dr. Kanupriya Tiwari, प्रेरित students to focus on holistic personality development. She emphasized that discipline, sensitivity, and a spirit of service are essential qualities for those working in the healthcare field. She advised students to achieve their goals through effective time management, regular study, practical training, and self-assessment. She also encouraged them to choose reliable information in the digital age and stay updated with new technologies.

Dr. Bharat Parashar highlighted the importance of research and scientific thinking in the healthcare sector and motivated students to use their knowledge and skills for the betterment of society. On this occasion, faculty members Yash Jain, Divya Atre, Aman Vashishtha, Neetu Bishwas, Parth Patel, and Tamanna also shared their views, encouraging awareness about health, cleanliness, and the promotion of scientific thinking.

At the end of the program, all students took a pledge to remain aware of health issues and to spread awareness in society. The event was conducted by Jeenal Patel and Prem Patidar.
