Sri Ganganagar: Under the “Transformative Tuesday” initiative directed by the Rajasthan State Legal Services Authority, Jaipur, a legal awareness camp on cyber security and cybercrime was आयोजित at Nozge Public School on Tuesday. The program was part of the “Empowering Youth of Rajasthan – Legal Literacy Initiative 2026,” led by District Legal Services Authority Chairman and District & Sessions Judge Ravindra Kumar.
During the camp, Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority, Ravi Prakash Suthar (Additional District & Sessions Judge), was also present.
Addressing the students, District & Sessions Judge Ravindra Kumar emphasized that social media is not always safe. He explained that not every follower on social media is a friend and not every message is trustworthy. Sharing personal photos, school location, home address, or travel details online can be risky, as such information may be misused by criminals.
He advised students to follow simple safety rules to protect themselves: never share personal details such as home address, phone number, school name, passwords, or OTPs; avoid accepting friend requests from unknown people; and refrain from clicking on suspicious links, as they may lead to hacking or data theft.
During the camp, Chief LADC Rohitash Yadav and Nozge School Managing Director Sudan were also present. The program was conducted by Legal Aid Defense Counsel Aman Chalana.
Similarly, across the district headquarters, a total of 17 judicial officers organized awareness camps in various government and private schools. These included sessions conducted by judges from family courts, NDPS courts, POCSO courts, SC/ST courts, judicial magistrates, and members of the Juvenile Justice Board at different schools in Sri Ganganagar.
Each judicial officer visited separate schools to educate students about cyber misconduct and cyber fraud, spreading awareness and promoting safe online practices among young learners.
