District Collector Visits Rain and Hailstorm-Affected Areas
Sriganganagar: District Collector Dr. Amit Yadav on Wednesday visited areas affected by heavy rain and hailstorm that occurred on Tuesday night in Padampur subdivision.
During the visit, the Collector met farmers in the affected regions and listened to their grievances. He also instructed the Sub-Divisional Officer to conduct a proper survey of the affected areas and take necessary action accordingly.
The Collector inspected villages including 54 LNP, 55 LNP, and other rain and hailstorm-affected locations in Padampur subdivision. While interacting with farmers, he assured them that they would receive appropriate assistance from the state government.
He emphasized the need for a detailed survey of crop damage and directed officials to ensure timely action.
Sub-Divisional Officer Ajit Godara, Tehsildar Jitendra Singh, Naib Tehsildar, Patwari, Agriculture Supervisor, and other officials were also present during the visit.
