Udaipur: The first phase of the Udaipur Dhyan Mahotsav was inaugurated with grandeur at the Samagram Eco-Pyramid Center in Shobhagpura. Dedicated to spirituality, health, and a positive lifestyle, the three-day festival began with sessions by Brahmrishi Premnath Ji and other experts, who elaborated on the importance of meditation and energy management in human life.
Balancing Intellect and Knowledge is Essential
Addressing the spiritual session, Brahmrishi Premnath Ji emphasized that proper use of intellect is only possible through knowledge (wisdom). He cited the example of the Ramayana, explaining that Ravana possessed great intellect but, lacking true knowledge, faced downfall, whereas Lord Shri Ram combined intellect with dharma to exemplify an ideal life.
He also highlighted the scientific aspects of energy conservation, noting that approximately 80% of human energy is expended through the eyes and 20% through speech. By controlling these, a person can naturally advance toward meditation.
Meditation is the Path to Transformation
The session conveyed that just as food is essential for the body, meditation is vital for the soul. The cosmic energy gained through meditation has the power to neutralize accumulated karmas. Mythological examples were shared, illustrating how dacoit Ratnakar transformed into Sage Valmiki and how even Angulimala experienced a profound heart transformation through meditation.
Emphasis on a Holistic Lifestyle
Dr. Nihal Jain, founder of Samagram, spoke on the theme of “Set Wisdom,” highlighting that modern individuals often lose inner peace amid external glamour. He encouraged youth to reconnect with Indian culture and spiritual growth.
Dr. Jain also noted that meditation requires no special place or time; it can be practiced anywhere—on a bus, train, or at home.
Addressing Mental Stress
Bhavna Trivedi inspired women and youth to adopt regular meditation and pranayama to reduce increasing mental stress. Meanwhile, Dr. Chetan Dadheech provided insights on the benefits of naturopathy and aqua yoga.
The Eco-Pyramid Center’s environment was described as conducive to awakening internal energy (vibrations). Over 100 meditation practitioners attended the inaugural session.
