Udaipur: Under the initiative of the Rajasthan State Legal Services Authority, an awareness program on cyber crime prevention was held on Friday at Government Senior Secondary School, Mehro Ka Guda. Judge Ajay Meena interacted with students and provided important information regarding cyber crimes and their prevention.
On this occasion, Judge Meena explained the misuse of OTPs, risks associated with unknown online links, unwanted calls, frauds carried out in the name of banks, and misuse of mobile phones. He also shared precautions related to online marketing and ways to avoid scams conducted under fake identities of various offices and institutions.
He further informed students about the functioning of the cyber crime helpline number 1930 and how to seek help in case of any cyber fraud.
During the session, school students actively engaged in a direct interaction with the judge, asking questions on various aspects of cyber crime and gaining valuable insights on how to stay safe.
School principal Inderjeet Singh Chauhan appreciated the efforts of the Legal Services Authority for organizing such programs in schools, calling them highly beneficial for students. He also honored the guests at the event.
