Udaipur: The Professional Premier Tennis League Season 3 (PPTL Season 3), which has brought fresh energy to Udaipur’s sports culture, has now reached its decisive stage. The prestigious Field Club is hosting this high-profile tournament, where the quarterfinal matches delivered intense excitement for tennis enthusiasts.
Fast-paced rallies, accurate serves, and exceptional net play were witnessed across courts, creating an electrifying atmosphere filled with competitive spirit.
Virendra Singh from the SPSL Foundation stated that players, organizers, spectators, and supporting institutions all played vital roles in making the tournament successful. He also appreciated the support of key sponsors such as Vivo, Amul, EV partner VinFast, Gallium, and KMT, emphasizing that sponsor participation is crucial in elevating such large sporting events to a professional level.
Strong Performances in Quarterfinals
The team event quarterfinals held on April 11 showcased outstanding performances:

Topspin Titans defeated Mighty Mustangs 2–1 in a closely fought match.

Glow Air beat Uday Tiger 2–0 with excellent coordination.

TO Star secured an impressive 2–0 win over Net Ninja.

In one of the most thrilling matches, Pink Warrior overcame Amvay Rebels 2–1 to reach the semifinals.
Players displayed remarkable fitness, strategy, and mental strength, while spectators cheered every great shot with applause.
Excitement in Doubles and Age Categories
The tournament extended beyond team events, with multiple categories adding to its appeal:

In Open Doubles, the pairs of Prithvi Shekhar–Gautam Jain–Atul Arora and Karthik Kannan–Abhishek Tosniwal advanced to the semifinals.

In the ATT Plus category, experienced players such as Pradeep Pant, Sanjeet Jain, Surendra Parakh, and Ram Kumar secured semifinal spots.

In the 100+ category, Tapan Sharma and Vikas Kalra reached the final, while M.M. Jai Gurbakshani and Gaurav Bhargava moved into the semifinals.

The tournament will conclude with a grand closing ceremony on the evening of April 12 at the Nursery Garden of Field Club. The winners will be honored with trophies and awards in the presence of chief guest Gaurav Agarwal.
