Five-Day Parashuram Jayanti Celebrations to Begin from April 16

Udaipur: On the occasion of Parashuram Jayanti, a five-day series of programs will be organized from April 16 to 20 by Vipra Foundation and Bhagwan Shri Parashuram Sarv Brahmin Samaj Samiti in Udaipur.

To make the event grand and successful, a special meeting was held at Hotel Brajraj Palace in Hiran Magri Sector 4, where office bearers and senior members from 70 different Brahmin organizations gathered for discussions.

State President Narendra Paliwal stated that all representatives unanimously emphasized making the event historic. Senior members urged all organizations to distribute invitation pamphlets door-to-door through their committees and encourage maximum participation from the community.

The meeting was attended by key members including Dharm Narayan Joshi, K.K. Sharma, Radheshyam Sikhwal, Hansraj Dave, Rakesh Joshi, Durgesh Sukhwal, along with several other prominent members such as Harish Sharma, Bharat Joshi, Anil Pachauri, Magan Joshi, Keshav Vyas, Suresh Sharma, Lokesh Menaria, Inder Menaria, Munesh Sharma, Nilesh Chaubisa, Shivkumar Sharma, Bansilal Menaria, Vijay Prakash Viplavi, and Narayan Lal Joshi. Representatives and office bearers from all 70 organizations were also present. The meeting was conducted by Durgesh Sukhwal, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Rakesh Joshi.

Event Schedule

The five-day celebrations will begin on April 16 (Thursday) at 5:30 PM with lamp lighting, Maha Aarti, and a rangoli competition at Parashuram Chowk, located on 100 Feet Road in Paneriyon Ki Madri. This event will be coordinated by the Menaria Brahmin Samaj and the women’s wing of Vipra Foundation.

On April 17 (Friday), a Ganga Aarti will be held at Gangoo Kund, organized by the Paliwal Brahmin Samaj and Bada Nagda Brahmin Samaj.

On April 18 (Saturday), a blood donation camp will be organized at the indoor stadium of Mohanlal Sukhadia University, coordinated by the youth wing and government employees’ wing of Vipra Foundation, along with the Mining Engineers Association.

On April 19 (Sunday), a grand procession (Shobha Yatra) and Mahaprasadi will take place, with thousands of community members expected to participate. The procession will begin at 3:00 PM from Fateh School grounds and pass through Surajpol, Asthal Mandir, Jhinee Ret, Lakhara Chowk, Dhan Mandi Santoshi Mata Temple, Delhi Gate, and Bapu Bazaar, before returning to Fateh School grounds. It will then conclude with a religious सभा, where blessings will be delivered by Sant Kamlesh Ji Shastri.

The final event will be held on April 20 (Monday) at Vallabhacharya Park, Sector 11, at the Parashuram statue site, where Havan, Poojan, and Aarti will be performed under the coordination of Dakshinanchal Samiti and Chaubisa Samaj Hitkari Samiti.

The celebrations aim to bring together the community through devotion, cultural unity, and social participation.
