PPTL Season 3 Thrills: Jaipur’s TA All Stars Crowned Champions at Field Club

Udaipur: The excitement reached its peak on Sunday at Field Club during Season 3 of the Professional Premier Tennis League. Just like the rest of the tournament, the finals were packed with high-intensity rallies, impressive net play, and enthusiastic crowd support, making the season truly memorable.

The highlight of the event was the team final between TA All Stars from Jaipur and Topspin Titans from Dehradun. The match witnessed a fierce contest, but Jaipur’s TA All Stars showed greater composure in crucial moments. With powerful serves, strong baseline returns, and precise shots under pressure, they secured a 2–1 victory to claim the championship. The win sparked celebrations among the Jaipur team, as players proudly lifted the trophy.

In the Open Doubles category, the duo of Prateeshekhar and Gautam Jain dominated with an aggressive strategy from the start. Their excellent coordination at the net and strong volley game helped them defeat Karthik Kannan and Atul Arora to win the title. This match was considered one of the most technically strong doubles contests of the tournament.

The 100+ category delivered a nail-biting thriller, where Tapan Sharma and Vikas Kalra edged past Gaurav Bhargava and Jai Gorvaksani with a close 9–8 win. The match remained uncertain till the very end, with both teams showcasing excellent defense and return play.

In the 120+ category, experience took center stage as Anil MM and Brijesh defeated Sharad Mehra and Arvind Arya 8–3. Their controlled gameplay, strong service holds, and ability to capitalize on opponents’ errors proved decisive.

The girls’ final was another major attraction, where young player Janis displayed outstanding confidence to defeat Rama 7–2. Her speed, footwork, and shot placement stood out, highlighting the rising talent in women’s tennis in the city.

In the AT+ category, Pradeep Pant and Sanjay Jain delivered an impressive performance to defeat Ramkumar Choudhary and Surendra Parak and claim the title.

One of the most emotional and crowd-favorite matches was the father-son category, where Virendra Singh and Jasveer showcased excellent coordination to defeat Abhishek Tosniwal and Naman Tosniwal 6–2. The match beautifully reflected the bond between generations along with sporting spirit.

The successful event was supported by key sponsors including VinFast, Vivo, Amul, Gallium, and KMT. The Field Club committee and organizing team members, including Yashpal Singh Sisodia, Kapil Todawat, Vikas Kalra, Sandeep Bhargava, and Kunal Gandhi, played a vital role in making the event a grand success.

PPTL Season 3 once again proved that Udaipur is emerging not only as a tourist destination but also as a growing hub for competitive tennis.
