Grand ‘Kavyanjali’ Literary Event Held in Udaipur: A Three-Day Confluence of Writers

Udaipur: A grand three-day literary festival was successfully organized in the lake city of Udaipur under the aegis of the organization “Aham Brahmasmi ~ Nav Udgosh Foundation”. The event witnessed intellectual discussions, friendship gatherings, Kavyanjali poetry sessions, and visits to historical sites, leaving writers from across the country deeply impressed.

The organization, committed to Hindi language, literature, and Sanatan culture, achieved a new milestone by hosting the literary celebration at the auditorium of the Computer Department of the historic Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth, Udaipur. The Kavyanjali poetry session was jointly organized by the foundation (Gurugram) and Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth.

The event was conceptualized and organized by the founder president Deepshikha Srivastava “Deep” and director-cum-treasurer Neeraj Srivastava. Key support was provided by patron Rajpal Yadav, general secretary Renu Mishra Ratan, and general secretary Anjali Srivastava. Significant assistance was also contributed by Associate Professor Chandresh Kumar Chatlani (Computer Department, JRNRV), senior entrepreneur and short story writer Neeraj Jain, and internationally renowned poet Shakuntala Saruparia.

Day One (April 10, 2026):
To strengthen mutual bonds, an informal literary gathering and poetry session was held at the residence of renowned poet and journalist Shakuntala Saruparia. Around twenty writers from Gurugram, along with several Udaipur-based literary figures, participated in an engaging evening of discussions and poetry recitations.

Day Two – Main ‘Kavyanjali’ Event:
A grand poetry event titled Kavyanjali was organized at the Computer Department auditorium of Rajasthan Vidyapeeth. The program was guided by Vice Chancellor Prof. Shiv Singh Sarangdevot and chaired by Deepshikha Srivastava “Deep.” The chief guest was Satyanarayan Joshi, President of Joganiya Mata Trust.

Special guests included Shakuntala Saruparia, entrepreneur and writer Neeraj Jain, National Coordinator of Kalamkar Manch Nishant Mishra, and poet-anchor Dinesh Sindal. The event began with floral tributes to Goddess Saraswati and the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by a Saraswati Vandana performed by Anjali Srivastava. The program was smoothly conducted by patron Rajpal Yadav with technical support from Master Dwij Srivastava.

Guests and participating poets were honored with shawls, garlands, mementos, certificates, diaries, pens, and foundation publications. Poets from Udaipur, Jodhpur, Jaipur, Chittorgarh, Gurugram, and Delhi presented soulful poetry, enriching the cultural atmosphere.

Day Three and Conclusion:
The concluding phase included visits to Nathdwara to seek blessings of Shrinathji and the historic Haldighati region, bringing the event to a meaningful close.

The festival not only served as a platform for poetic expression but also emerged as a bridge of intellectual and cultural exchange among writers from different cities across India.
