Udaipur: A district-level program was organized at the BJP City District Office in Udaipur on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna, the architect of the Constitution, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.
The program began with floral tributes to Dr. Ambedkar’s portrait, followed by a seminar highlighting his life and contributions.
The chief speaker, Dr. Mukesh Garg, State General Secretary of the Scheduled Caste Morcha, Rajasthan, highlighted various initiatives undertaken under the leadership of the Prime Minister in honour of Dr. Ambedkar, including the development of the five “Panch Teerth” associated with his life. He also alleged that the Congress party insulted Dr. Ambedkar and forced him to resign from the post of Law Minister, besides defeating him in elections twice to keep him away from mainstream politics.
Chief guest and State Coordinator of the Cooperation Cell Pramod Samar read out the Preamble of the Constitution.
City District President Gajpal Singh Rathore described Dr. Ambedkar as a great national figure, stating that he wrote the Constitution of the world’s largest democracy with equal respect for all communities and religions. He further said that following the path shown by Ambedkar, who opposed Article 370, would be a true tribute to him.
State Vice President of the Scheduled Caste Morcha Sanjay Chandel delivered the vote of thanks, stating that education plays a vital role in shaping children’s futures, and there should be a collective resolve to ensure higher education so that they can reach higher positions and fulfill Dr. Ambedkar’s vision.
Morcha District President Satyanarayan Mochi welcomed all party officials and workers.
Media in-charge Dr. Seema Champawat informed that several leaders and workers attended the event, including former District President Mangilal Joshi, Dinesh Bhatt, General Secretary Paras Singhvi, Devilal Salvi, Dr. Pankaj Borana, former State Vice President Shailendra Chauhan, program coordinator Manohar Chaudhary, T.S. Khinchi, Shailendra Chauhan, Prahlad Chauhan, Ramesh Jingar, Lavdev Bagdi, Gopal Salvi, Morcha District General Secretary Roshan Vasita, Vice President Balwant Ravi Bagdi, Mandal President Pushkar Meghwal, Kamlesh Divakar, Mali Bharat Singh, Jitendra, and many other dignitaries and party workers.
