Udaipur | During the monthly meeting of Jain Social Group ‘Main’ Udaipur, 44 Bhamashahs (donors) were honored, and an informative talk on urology (urinary health issues) was delivered by Dr. Vishwas Baheti.
Media in-charge Prof. Vimal Sharma informed that the meeting began with laughter yoga, chanting of the Navkar Mahamantra, group prayer, and the Federation Sutra. Group President K.S. Nalwaya extended heartfelt greetings on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya and congratulated members celebrating their birthdays and wedding anniversaries, as well as all Bhamashahs. He shared that during the 12 months of the year 2025–26, the group, with the support of its members and donors, carried out 177 service activities amounting to ₹14,27,000. Notable contributions were made by Gautam Kumar Nagori, Shanti Lal Mehta, Kamal Kothari, Anil Chaplot, Rajendra Kumar Khokhawat, Vimla Soni, Prabha Jain, Ashok Kumar Nagori, Narendra Seth, and Surajmal Porwal. All were welcomed with traditional “uparna” shawls.
The President further announced that a “Parinda” (bird water pot) distribution program will be held on Sunday at 7:00 AM near Fateh Sagar Pal, close to the fish aquarium, and invited all members to participate. He also thanked contributors of the buttermilk (chaach) distribution program held on March 31 on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti. Members were encouraged to motivate their children to participate in the blood donation camp scheduled on April 26, 2026, marking the death anniversary of late Vikas, son of senior member Himmat Bolia. For the group’s upcoming tour, coordinator Kamal Kothari was requested to consult with a tour operator and share detailed information with the group.
Co-Secretary Rajendra Khokhawat felicitated members celebrating birthdays and anniversaries with garlands, shawls, flowers, and gifts. On the same occasion, 44 Bhamashahs were honored with shawls and mementos.
Chief guest Dr. Vishwas Baheti was welcomed with a shawl and memento and then invited to deliver his talk. He provided valuable insights into urinary health issues and addressed members’ queries effectively.
The program was conducted by Group Secretary Gautam Kumar Nagori. In the end, Vice President Kamal Kothari expressed gratitude to all and invited everyone for the national anthem, after which the meeting concluded.
