Udaipur Products Add Flavor to the National Cooperative Spice Fair

Udaipur — Products from Udaipur are attracting significant attention at the National Cooperative Spice Fair–2026, being held at Jawahar Kala Kendra, Jaipur. The fair, organized jointly by the Cooperative Department and the Rajasthan State Cooperative Consumer Federation Ltd., Jaipur, is scheduled from April 17 to April 26. It was inaugurated by Minister of State for Cooperation Gautam Kumar Dak and Dr. Samit Sharma, Secretary to the Government and Registrar of Cooperative Societies.

The fair features around 150 stalls representing leading institutions of the state, including consumer stores, cooperative marketing societies, and women’s cooperative groups.

Dr. Pramod Kumar, General Manager of the Cooperative Consumer Wholesale Store, informed that Udaipur Cooperative Store has set up 8 stalls showcasing a variety of products. These include wheat from Sindhu FPO, Jhadol tuar dal, dry fruits, spices, Nathdwara’s traditional thandai, herbal beverages, amla-based products, millets (Shree Anna), and organic food items, all available for display and sale.

During their visit, the Cooperation Minister and the Government Secretary appreciated the quality of Sindhu FPO wheat and Jhadol tuar dal. They also praised the innovative “Buy on Rent” service introduced by the Udaipur Cooperative Store, describing it as a model initiative for the cooperative sector across Rajasthan.

Among the highlights of the fair, Nathdwara’s thandai at the Udaipur stall has emerged as a major attraction for visitors.

The event also witnessed the presence of Rajfed Managing Director Saurabh Swami, Additional Registrar of Cooperative Societies Udaipur Gunjan Chaubey, along with officials from the cooperative department, consumer stores, and a large number of cooperative members.
