Udaipur — Once again proving that extraordinary talent knows no age limits, young prodigy Tanmay Darg from Udaipur has brought pride to the state with his remarkable achievement. Known for his exceptional memory and concentration, Tanmay, who had already earned a place in the India Book of Records, has now secured his name in the Asia Book of Records as well.
In a blindfolded activity, Tanmay identified and correctly named 76 historical monuments and prominent landmarks in just 7 minutes. Remarkably, he accomplished this feat while blindfolded. He was shown images through flash cards and responded with incredible speed and accuracy, demonstrating outstanding mental ability. At the time of this achievement, he was only 11 years, 7 months, and 5 days old, and the record was officially confirmed in February 2026.
Behind this success was expert guidance and structured training. Scientific mentoring by Dr. Pashmina Jain, founder of Kriyanza, helped enhance Tanmay’s focus and memory skills. Additionally, sensory enhancement training and regular practice under trainers Praveen Parik and Nisha Parik from ABC A Brain Coach, Jaipur, played a crucial role in shaping this achievement.
Tanmay’s parents, Satyendra Darg and Neha Darg, expressed their happiness and said that with the right guidance, positive environment, and consistent practice, hidden talents in children can be nurtured effectively.
Tanmay’s achievement has created a wave of pride not only in Udaipur but across Rajasthan. Experts believe that in the coming years, he will continue to showcase his talent at both national and international levels.
