Ethics and Team Spirit Should Guide Work – Excise Commissioner

Udaipur: Excise Commissioner Namit Mehta stated that departmental financial and enforcement targets should be achieved with integrity and a strong sense of teamwork. He emphasized that effective enforcement actions should be carried out across the state and their number should be increased. Mehta was addressing office bearers of the Rajasthan Excise Service Association at the Excise Auditorium on Monday. He also expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and felicitation extended to him by the association.

Earlier, the office bearers of the Rajasthan Excise Service Association paid a courtesy visit to Excise Commissioner Namit Mehta and congratulated him on assuming charge. They assured him of their collective commitment to achieving all departmental goals within stipulated timelines. On the occasion, the association also submitted a memorandum outlining their demands related to departmental DPC (Departmental Promotion Committee), promotions, grade pay, and other issues.

Responding to this, the Excise Commissioner assured that all demands would be examined and necessary steps would be taken. Among those present were Association President Suresh Kumar, General Secretary Ashok Kumar Didel, Adaram Dahiya, Trilok Agrawal, Dushyant Singh, Rahul Sharma, Muralidhar Soda, Jitendra Singh, Mukesh Devpura, Tarun Arora, Shakuntala, Naresh Suhail, and Hemant Meghwal.
