Resolve Complaints by Putting Yourself in the Complainant’s Place – District Collector

Udaipur: District Collector Gaurav Agrawal directed officials to treat complaints registered on the Sampark Portal with utmost seriousness. He emphasized that officers should put themselves in the complainant’s position and handle cases with sensitivity to ensure meaningful relief to the public in line with the state government’s intent.

The Collector was addressing a weekly review meeting of district-level officers on Monday evening. He reviewed pending cases on the Sampark Portal department-wise and officer-wise, and instructed each official to monitor complaints through the mobile app. He also directed all district-level officers to ensure that their subordinate staff regularly monitor and resolve assigned grievances in a timely and qualitative manner.

During the meeting, cases pending at the Prime Minister’s Office, Chief Minister’s Office, and various commission levels were also reviewed, and necessary directions were issued. The Collector further reviewed cases from the recently held District Public Grievance Redressal and Vigilance Committee, as well as complaints received during public hearings. Progress on budget announcements was also discussed, with instructions to complete works within stipulated timelines.

The meeting was attended by ADM City Jitendra Ojha, Girwa SDM Avula Sai Krishna, UDA Secretary Hemendra Nagar, Zila Parishad CEO Virmaram, along with other district-level officials.


Effective Implementation of Government Schemes Emphasized

In a series of meetings held at the Collectorate Mini Conference Hall on Monday evening, District Collector Gaurav Agrawal directed officials to ensure effective implementation of state government schemes so that eligible beneficiaries receive timely benefits.

Reviewing the Hariyalo Rajasthan Campaign, he discussed departmental targets and pre-monsoon preparations for plantation drives. He emphasized that all departments should work in coordination to make the campaign successful and contribute to making the state greener, as per the Chief Minister’s directions.

He also chaired a meeting on DMFT (District Mineral Foundation Trust), reviewing approved, completed, and ongoing projects. Officials were instructed to expedite pending works and issue technical approvals for newly sanctioned projects. Meetings of the Parole Committee and District Level Narco Coordination Center were also held, where necessary directions were given. Additionally, a review of the 20-Point Program was conducted.

Officials present included ADM City Jitendra Ojha, ASP Lakhmanray Rathore, Anjana Sukhwal, Deputy Conservator of Forests Mukesh Saini, Deputy Conservator of Forests (Wildlife) Yadvendra Singh Chundawat, and other concerned officers.


Meeting of District Gas Distribution Committee

A meeting of the District Gas Distribution Committee under the Rajasthan City Gas Distribution (CGD) Policy, 2025, was held under the chairmanship of District Collector Gaurav Agrawal.

Discussions focused on promoting clean fuel usage, reducing air pollution, ensuring the availability of PNG (Piped Natural Gas) in domestic, commercial, and industrial sectors, encouraging the use of CNG in the transport sector, and attracting investment in the energy sector to boost economic growth.

The Collector reviewed the progress of pipeline installation work and discussed identification of potential sites for setting up CNG stations. The meeting was attended by Member Secretary and Mining Engineer Asif Ansari, along with other officials and stakeholders.
