Call to Turn Devotion into Resolve for Maharana Pratap

Udaipur, Nimbaraam, Rajasthan regional pracharak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, urged society to transform its deep reverence for Maharana Pratap into a firm collective resolve. He stated that only through such commitment can historically distorted narratives about Mewar and Maharana Pratap be corrected and his legacy of courage be rightfully established on the global stage.

He was addressing a preparatory meeting held at Pratap Gaurav Kendra, attended by workers from the Mewar–Vagad region. The meeting was organized in view of the grand celebrations of Maharana Pratap Jayanti on June 17 and the commemoration of the Haldighati victory anniversary.

From Faith to Determination

Nimbaraam emphasized that the upcoming gathering would not be a routine rally but a mass awakening rooted in national consciousness. Participants, he said, should return not just with admiration but with a renewed pledge of dedication to Maharana Pratap’s ideals. He warned that societies decline when they forget their great heroes and stressed the responsibility to pass on these heroic narratives to future generations.

Mega National Awakening Event on June 17

Director of the center, Anurag Saxena, informed that a massive “Rashtra Chetna Sankalp Sabha” will be held on June 17 at Maharana Bhupal Stadium (Gandhi Ground). The gathering will be addressed by Mohan Bhagwat.

June 18 will mark the observance of Haldighati Victory Day. Information about a large tribal cultural congregation scheduled in Delhi on May 24 was also shared during the meeting.

Outreach to Every Village and Hamlet

It was decided that before the main event, the story of Haldighati’s valor will be taken to every village and hamlet across Mewar–Vagad. Plans include staging short theatrical performances based on historical episodes and forming local committees to ensure wide participation.

Booklet Released

A booklet titled “Teerth Sthal evam Jananayak – Janjati Kshetra Rajasthan”, authored by Dr. Radhika Ladha, was also released during the meeting.

Several dignitaries from social, political, and organizational backgrounds were present, and detailed strategies were discussed to make the upcoming event historic.
