MP Dr. Mannalal Rawat Among Top Three in Asking Questions During Budget Session; Records 90% Attendance

Udaipur: During the Lok Sabha Budget Session, Udaipur MP Dr. Mannalal Rawat ranked among the top three MPs from Rajasthan in terms of questions asked. Rajasthan MPs contributed 11.5% of the total questions raised in the session, despite making up only about 4.5% of the total MP strength.

According to available data, Pali MP P.P. Chaudhary asked the highest number of questions (76), followed by Bhilwara MP Damodar Agrawal with 73 questions, while Dr. Mannalal Rawat raised 68 questions on various issues.

A total of 6,939 questions were asked by all MPs during the Lok Sabha Budget Session, out of which 798 questions were raised by the 20 MPs from Rajasthan. Kota MP Om Birla serves as the Speaker of the Lok Sabha. Union ministers Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Bhupender Yadav, Arjun Ram Meghwal, and Bhagirath Choudhary were not included in this count.

Dr. Rawat also maintained an impressive attendance record of 90% during the session. It is noteworthy that he has consistently raised important issues in Parliament related to the development of his constituency as well as key national concerns. Matters highlighted by him—such as health, youth, skill development, tribal welfare, rural development, railways, roads, finance, and water resources—have also seen follow-up action.
