Kota: To enhance passenger convenience, the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) has approved a new stoppage for Train No. 12937/12938 Gandhidham–Howrah–Gandhidham Garba Express at Bhawani Mandi station under the Kota Division of West Central Railway.
Honorable Member of Parliament (Jhalawar–Baran), Mr. Dushyant Singh, formally inaugurated the stoppage by flagging off Train No. 12937 Gandhidham–Howrah Garba Express at Bhawani Mandi station in the morning.
The event was attended by Honorable MLA (Dag) Mr. Kaluram Meghwal, public representatives of the region, distinguished citizens, and passengers. From the railway administration, Additional Divisional Railway Manager Mr. Yogesh Kumar Mittal, along with senior railway officials and staff, were present.
Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Mr. Saurabh Jain stated that the Garba Express will now halt at Bhawani Mandi station. Accordingly, Train No. 12937 Gandhidham–Howrah Garba Express will arrive at 07:38 AM and depart at 07:40 AM from April 26, 2026, until further orders. Similarly, Train No. 12938 Howrah–Gandhidham Garba Express will arrive at 12:28 AM and depart at 12:30 AM from April 29, 2026, until further notice.
With this new stoppage, passengers from the Bhawani Mandi region will now have direct rail connectivity to Gujarat (Gandhidham) and West Bengal (Howrah).
