Udaipur: Young social worker and former member of the Rajasthan State Commission for Protection of Child Rights, Dr. Shailendra Pandya, has been honoured with the prestigious “Rashtriya Ratna Samman 2026” in New Delhi.
The national-level award ceremony was held at Bharat Mandapam, organized by the Department of Sports and Youth Welfare in association with W.R. Corp. Dr. Pandya was recognized under the Social Service category for his outstanding contributions towards child protection.
The award was presented by Chief Guest Kangana Ranaut, Member of Parliament and noted actress-producer, who extended her congratulations and best wishes to Dr. Pandya.
Dr. Pandya has been actively working in the field of child protection for the past 17 years, with a special focus on the upliftment of children from tribal communities. His efforts have helped rescue hundreds of children from child labour and integrate them into mainstream society.
In recognition of his dedicated service, Dr. Pandya has previously been honoured at several national and international platforms.
