###GMCH Surgery Update ’26 Successfully Held in Udaipur
Two-Day Academic Workshop Sees Participation of 150 Delegates
Udaipur. The Department of Surgery at Geetanjali Medical College & Hospital successfully organized “GMCH Surgery Update ’26” on April 25 and 26. The two-day academic workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from surgery residents of six medical colleges across the Udaipur region. Around 150 participants, including residents and consultants, attended the programme.
The primary objective of the event was to promote exam-oriented learning. High-yield long and short case presentations were conducted, helping participants strengthen their clinical knowledge and enhance their examination preparedness. An engaging quiz competition was also organized, fostering a competitive and interactive learning environment.
During the workshop, senior surgeons from Udaipur evaluated the residents’ case presentations and provided valuable guidance, offering both practical and academic benefits to the participants.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sanjeev Agrawal, Head of the Department of Surgery, stated that such workshops are highly beneficial for residents as they not only reinforce clinical knowledge but also improve exam readiness. He reiterated the department’s commitment to promoting excellence in surgical education.
