First Divisional-Level Pension Court Successfully Held in Udaipur

Udaipur: Following the directions of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, and as an initiative of the Finance Department, the first divisional-level Pension Court for Udaipur division was successfully held on Monday at the Regional Pension Office auditorium. The objective was to ensure swift resolution of long-pending issues faced by pensioners.

Coordinator and Additional Director (Pension), Mrs. Ruchi Priyadarshi, stated that a total of 76 grievances were received for the Pension Court. Due to proactive efforts by the department, most of these cases were resolved. This included the disposal of 12 cases related to the Education Department and 20 cases connected with the Pension Office. Additionally, 18 cases pending at the director level were resolved. The remaining 26 cases, primarily related to payments under the Finance Department, have been forwarded for immediate action and are expected to be resolved soon.

6 Pensioners Received Immediate Revision Orders
Mrs. Priyadarshi highlighted the responsiveness of the Pension Court, noting that 6 new cases were presented during the program itself. Officials acted promptly and resolved these cases on the spot, issuing revision orders immediately to the concerned pensioners.

The event was attended by Joint Director Pramod Suthar, Deputy Director Mayank Vyas, Rural Treasury Officer Dr. Preeti Verma, Chittorgarh Treasury Officer Digvijay Singh, along with officials from the Education Department and representatives of the Pensioners’ Society Udaipur, including its president Bhanwar Seth. Representatives of the pensioners and beneficiaries appreciated this initiative by the government.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the Deputy Director, expressing gratitude to all officers and staff involved.
