Vikram Rathore Meets NCTE Chief

New Delhi, : A courtesy meeting was held between Vikram Rathore, Founder President of Higher Education Express Rajasthan, and Prof. Pankaj Arora, Chairperson of the National Council for Teacher Education, in the national capital.

During the interaction, key issues concerning the effective implementation of the National Education Policy, enhancement of teacher education quality, innovation in pedagogy, and strengthening of teaching skill training systems were discussed in detail. Contemporary challenges and reforms in the teacher education sector also formed an important part of the dialogue.

Vikram Rathore acknowledged the progressive role of NCTE under Prof. Arora’s leadership, stating that innovative approaches and reforms introduced at the national level have accelerated the vision of building an inclusive and future-ready higher education system. It was highlighted that under Prof. Arora’s guidance, teacher education in India is steadily evolving into a more research-driven, modern, and robust framework.

Prof. Pankaj Arora emphasized that quality teacher education is fundamental to nation-building and plays a decisive role in shaping the country’s future. He reiterated the Council’s commitment to advancing teacher training, institutional development, and the introduction of innovative practices across educational institutions.

The discussion also reflected upon Rajasthan’s educational landscape, focusing on improving training quality, strengthening institutional capacity, and aligning reforms with national objectives. The importance of collaboration among universities, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders was underscored as essential for making teacher education more effective, inclusive, and forward-looking.

The meeting concluded with a shared vision to promote coordinated efforts, innovation-driven initiatives, and policy-aligned reforms to further strengthen teacher education across India.
