###Volkswagen Taigun Relaunched with 40 New Features, Advanced Safety and Premium Technology
The newly launched Volkswagen Taigun has made a strong comeback in Udaipur, setting a new benchmark in the compact SUV segment. Introduced by Volkswagen India, the updated model comes packed with over 40 new features, combining premium design, advanced technology, and enhanced safety.
The launch event was held at Rajesh Motors, where pre-bookings for the SUV were also opened. The function was attended by prominent guests, including Dr. Anand Gupta, President of the Rajasthan Medical Association and Director of Aravali Hospital, along with company representatives and valued customers.
According to Rajesh Motors Director Rahul Shah, the new Taigun features a bold and refreshed design. Updates include a redesigned front and rear profile, an illuminated logo, and signature LED lighting that give it a distinctive road presence. The interior has also been upgraded, offering a more refined and premium cabin experience.
On the technology front, the SUV is equipped with a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital cockpit, and the “Hello Volkswagen” voice assistant. Enhanced connected car features and an improved sound system further elevate the driving experience.
In terms of safety, the Volkswagen Taigun stands out with its 5-star rating from Global NCAP. It comes standard with six airbags and over 40 active and passive safety features, including hill hold control and multi-collision braking.
For performance, the SUV offers two engine options: a 1.0-litre and a 1.5-litre TSI engine. Notably, the 1.0-litre variant now comes with an 8-speed automatic transmission for the first time in its segment, ensuring smoother driving and improved fuel efficiency.
Available in multiple variants, the new Taigun caters to a wide range of customer preferences and budgets. With its balanced mix of design, technology, safety, and performance, it is set to further strengthen Volkswagen’s position in the Indian market.
