Udaipur: Following the success of the post-examination “Zestopia” camp, Maharana Mewar Vidyamandir has introduced a new initiative titled “One Student–One Game/Hobby.” Under this program, students from classes 1 to 8 have selected a sport or activity of their choice.
Students are being given daily practice in their chosen activities, which include football, cricket, table tennis, boxing, chess, public speaking, dance, flute, and several other disciplines. All activities are conducted under the guidance of trained instructors.
According to the school’s Principal, Mrs. Pratima Sharma, the objective of this initiative is to ensure the holistic development of students while maintaining a balance between academics and co-curricular activities. Parents have observed a reduction in children’s screen time and noted improvements in discipline, teamwork, and a spirit of cooperation. In the positive environment of the school campus, students are also showing greater focus in their studies.
