Maharana Mewar Public School Hosts Grand Inter-School Painting Competition

Udaipur: Maharana Mewar Public School, The City Palace, Udaipur, successfully organized a grand inter-school painting competition. The event emerged as an inspiring celebration of artistic dedication, creativity, and expression, with enthusiastic participation from 44 students representing various reputed schools of Udaipur.

The competition, based on the theme “War and Peace,” provided young artists with a powerful platform to express their imagination, emotions, and perspectives through art. Participants vividly portrayed the turbulence of war and the harmony of peace with remarkable sensitivity, maturity, and artistic skill, reflecting both their creative thinking and technical excellence.

The entries were judged with fairness and keen insight by renowned art experts and State Award recipients Dr. Meena Baya and Dr. Raghunath Sharma, further enhancing the prestige and quality of the event.

The program commenced with an inspiring address by the school’s Honorary Director, Mr. Satish Kumar Sharma, who warmly welcomed the jury members. The award ceremony was conducted in a dignified atmosphere, where distinguished guests including jury members Dr. Meena Baya and Dr. Raghunath Sharma, Honorary Director S.K. Sharma, Honorary General Manager (Corporate HR) Ajay Nagar, and Principal Dr. Rakhi Trivedi honored the winners for their outstanding artistic talent and achievements.

Winners were as follows:

Junior Category:

  • First Prize: Srishti Malik (Central Academy School, Class VIII)

  • Second Prize: Hitarth Raj (Seedling The World School, Class VI)

  • Third Prize: Radhika (St. Anthony School, Class VIII)

Senior Category:

  • First Prize: Khushal Singh Chauhan (Delhi Public School, Class IX)

  • Second Prize: Prishita Kapil Jethi (MMPS, Class XII)

  • Third Prize: Vishruti Jain (Seedling Modern School, Class IX)

The success of this event is credited to the school’s Art Department—Makbool Ahmed Abbasi, Bhaskar Choudhary, Mrs. Kavita Choudhary, Mrs. Anuja Mehta, Bhavesh Sahu, and Ashish Sahu—whose dedication, excellent coordination, and meticulous planning made the program truly memorable.
