Udaipur Students Shine in State Abacus Championship

Udaipur: Young participants from Udaipur delivered an outstanding performance at the state-level abacus championship, showcasing remarkable talent in mental mathematics. The grand competition, organized by SIP Academy at Birla Auditorium in Jaipur, saw participation from around 1,200 students from across Rajasthan, all demonstrating exceptional speed and concentration.

Dr. Radhika Sethia, Director of SIP Academy Udaipur, stated that children solved over 240 questions in just 11 minutes, highlighting their high-speed mental math abilities. Around 200 students from Udaipur participated and secured top positions in multiple categories.

Champions Excel: In Grand Master Level C, Garvit Kanthalia secured first place, while Samarth Agrawal (Advance Level-2) and Kushagra Sukhwal (Level-3) also emerged as state champions. Each winner was awarded a cash prize of ₹1,000.

Multiple Award Winners: Udaipur students also dominated the first, second, and third runner-up categories, winning numerous awards. A total of 56 students received Performance Awards, while 5 were honored with Rising Star Awards.

Team Recognition: For their excellent performance, the Udaipur center was awarded the First Runner-Up Champion Trophy. Monica Tiwari received the First Runner-Up Champion Guru Award, and 61 students were conferred the Grand Master title upon course completion.

The impressive performance of Udaipur’s students reaffirmed that in this “mind sport” of mental mathematics, the city’s young talents stand among the best.
