Rajya Sabha MP and Divisional Commissioner Complete Online Self-Enumeration
Udaipur, May 2: There is great enthusiasm in Udaipur district regarding the first phase of house listing and housing census under India’s Census 2027. Since the launch of self-enumeration on May 1, thousands of residents in the district have submitted their details through the online portal. Public representatives and officials are also participating in self-enumeration to spread awareness among citizens.
As part of the first phase of the census—“House Listing”—Rajya Sabha MP Chunnilal Garasia filled out the self-enumeration form, encouraging citizens to participate actively. He stated that the census process plays a crucial role in ensuring that government welfare schemes reach every eligible individual effectively. It also provides essential data for formulating accurate policies for the state’s overall development. He appealed to the public to fully cooperate with the census team and provide complete and accurate information so that development schemes benefit the right people. Citizens can also fill out their forms online through the Census Self-Enumeration portal. Soon, census teams will visit households to collect data. He urged everyone to fulfill their responsibility and actively participate in this national exercise.
Similarly, Divisional Commissioner Ms. Pragya Kevalramani also completed her self-enumeration form on the portal and appealed to all citizens of the division to do the same. She noted that this time the census is being conducted entirely through digital means, providing every citizen an opportunity to participate. People can conveniently fill out the form from home by visiting the official self-enumeration portal. The portal for house listing will remain open to the public from May 1 to May 15.
