Udaipur: Under the Village Rath Campaign across six assembly constituencies in the district, a large number of villagers gathered at Gram Panchayat headquarters on Sunday to learn about various government schemes.
As the digital van reached different Gram Panchayats, there was noticeable enthusiasm among the villagers. Through films and videos displayed on a large screen, information about schemes for farmers, livestock owners, women, and youth was explained in simple language. Villagers were also informed about how they can easily access government benefits from home without any difficulty.
In the Jhadol assembly area, at Gram Panchayat Magwas, Mrs. Rajudi Bai from Village Vanpura was approved for old-age pension on Saturday. The administration handed over the Pension Payment Order (PPO) on the spot to her son, Nathulal. Similarly, in Gram Panchayat Kada, Ganesh Lal was also sanctioned old-age pension and received his PPO immediately.
