Focus on Quality and Timely Completion of Works – Minister Rawat Reviews Projects

Udaipur: Rajasthan’s Water Resources Minister Suresh Singh Rawat chaired a divisional-level review meeting of departmental officials at the Circuit House in Udaipur during his visit on Monday.

During the meeting, the minister conducted a detailed review of the progress of major water projects in the division. He discussed the current status, challenges, and future action plans of various schemes and issued strict instructions to ensure both quality and timely completion of all works.

He emphasized that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, the state government is committed to providing drinking water to every household and irrigation water to every farm. He directed officials not to show any negligence in this sensitive sector and to complete all projects within the stipulated timelines while maintaining high standards of quality.

Minister Rawat also reviewed the Detailed Project Report (DPR) of the Jakham–Jaisamand–Badgaon–Matrikundiya project. He instructed officials to complete all necessary preliminary preparations in advance so that once the project receives approval, its implementation can begin without delay.

The progress of the Dewas Phase III and IV projects was also reviewed. The minister discussed issues related to forest areas falling under the project zone and directed officials to ensure proper coordination so that work progress is not hindered.

Additionally, he assessed the progress of key projects in Rajsamand district, including the Bagolia feeder and Kharif feeder, along with other works approved under the Chief Minister’s budget announcements.
