Sri Ganganagar: The Gram Rath campaign, being run across the district to effectively deliver the public welfare schemes of the Rajasthan Government to rural areas, witnessed enthusiastic and engaging programs in several gram panchayats on Monday. Villagers expressed happiness while learning about various schemes and actively availing their benefits.
On Monday, awareness vans (LED vans) reached multiple villages across different constituencies, including Faujuwala, 71 RB, Luhara, Gaguwala (Raisinghnagar), 1 AS, Raghunathpura, Gudli, Govindsar, Hinjarasar, Bakhtawarpura (Suratgarh), 25 H Dalpat Singhpur, Lakhia 4 O, 3 O, 15 O (Sri Karanpur), 8 KB, 22 A, 27 A, 4 MSR, 90 GB, 12 H (Anupgarh), Shivpur Head, Fatuhhi, Dulapur Keri, Odki (Sri Ganganagar), and Sardarpura Jivan, Jaymeetsinghwala, Panniwali villages (Sadulshahar constituency).
As soon as the Gram Rath reached these villages, a large crowd of enthusiastic villagers gathered at the venues. Live digital presentations of 13 major government departments’ schemes were showcased. A message from Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma was also broadcast, urging citizens to take maximum benefit of government welfare programs.
Local folk artists presented songs, bhajans, and street plays (nukkad nataks) to explain the schemes in an engaging and easy-to-understand manner. Their performances not only entertained the villagers but also simplified the application process and benefits of the schemes.
Officials distributed informational guides and promotional materials to the attendees to further spread awareness. To ensure public participation, suggestion boxes were also placed with each Gram Rath, where villagers submitted their feedback and suggestions.
Officials stated that the main objective of the campaign is to connect even the last person in the queue with government welfare schemes by ensuring proper awareness and access.
Under the Gram Rath campaign, departments such as Agriculture, Horticulture, Agricultural Marketing, Animal Husbandry, Dairy, Fisheries, Cooperation, Water Resources, Industry, Energy, Revenue, Panchayati Raj, and Rural Development are actively involved. Each Gram Rath is equipped with LED screens for audio-visual presentations of government schemes.
