####Eighth ‘Chhappan Bhog’ Event of 108 Gaushalas Series Held with Grandeur in Udaipur

 

Udaipur: The eighth event of the historic “Chhappan Bhog” series across 108 gaushalas was held with devotion and enthusiasm at a gaushala located in Ashok Nagar Moksh Dham, under the aegis of Guru Kamal Chandra Roshan Gau Seva Trust. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of over 200 devotees, making it a memorable spiritual gathering.

According to Treasurer Sweety Jain, a dedicated team of 15 volunteers worked continuously for two days to prepare for the event. Devotees began participating in service activities from 11 AM, creating an atmosphere filled with devotion and positivity.

The event’s beneficiary was Varshitap Sadhika Rajkumari Ji Nalwaya, who completed her second year of Varshitap. Members of the Saksham Society family, including President Nandkishore Kabra, Secretary Supriya Khandelwal, Treasurer Rinki Kabra, and Advisor Rajendra Paliwal, were also present on this auspicious occasion.

A key highlight of the event was when founder Sanjay Jain, with the approval of Rajasthan Gaurav Dr. Jinendra Shastri, appointed Advocate Nirmal Pandit as the head of the project. He was also honored for his social service contributions.

The event was presided over by Dr. Jinendra Shastri, while Advocate Nirmal Pandit attended as the Chief Guest. Distinguished guests included Priyanka Kothari, Renu Siroya, Kiran Pokharna, and Dr. Alpana Bohra.

The initiative has been receiving appreciation from across the country and abroad. Poet Rao Ajatshatru, through his poetry, expressed gratitude to founder Sanjay Jain and voiced confidence that this series will one day become a defining identity of Udaipur.

During the event, a human chain was formed to raise the demand of declaring cows as the “National Mother,” accompanied by slogan chanting to spread the message among the wider community.

Dr. Alpana Bohra also announced sponsoring a “Chhappan Bhog” at one gaushala, while another anonymous contribution for a separate gaushala inspired many attendees.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Sweety Jain, who appreciated the presence of guests, devotees, and gaushala management for making the event a grand success.
