Udaipur,Promoting community healthcare, Paras Health Udaipur partnered with Jain Social Group Arham to organize a health awareness session at Radisson Blu Palace Resort & Spa. The session saw participation from over 200 attendees.
The interactive session focused on spreading awareness about healthy living, early disease detection, and modern treatment approaches. With the rise in lifestyle-related diseases and lack of timely diagnosis, such initiatives are becoming increasingly important. The session aimed to bridge the gap between medical expertise and the community, encouraging individuals to make informed health decisions.
Speaking on the occasion, cardiology HOD and Director Dr. Amit Khandelwal highlighted the growing burden of heart diseases. He noted that in India, heart-related conditions are occurring nearly 10 years earlier than in many Western countries, with more people in their 30s and 40s facing serious cardiac issues. He emphasized the importance of regular health check-ups, controlling risk factors like high blood pressure, diabetes, and cholesterol, and adopting a healthier lifestyle. He also stressed that healthcare should focus more on prevention and early intervention rather than just treatment.
Discussing advancements in orthopedic care, robotic joint replacement surgeon and Senior Consultant Dr. Ashish Singhal explained how technology is improving treatment outcomes. He said robotic systems enable more precise implant placement and better joint alignment, leading to long-term benefits. However, he also pointed out that delayed treatment often worsens joint conditions, affecting mobility. Early diagnosis, proper treatment planning, and patient awareness are crucial for faster recovery and improved quality of life.
Participants actively engaged in the session, interacting directly with medical experts and gaining insights into managing chronic diseases and adopting healthier lifestyles. The initiative was supported by Team Arham, including President Omprakash Porwal, Founder President Alok Pagaria, and Secretary Vinod Chandalia, whose efforts ensured strong participation and outreach.
