One-Day Yuva Sambal Employment Fair Organized by District Administration and Divisional Employment Office

Udaipur: Under the action plan of the State Government’s Department of Skill, Employment, and Entrepreneurship, a one-day Yuva Sambal Fair was organized on Tuesday from 10:00 AM at Government Fateh Senior Secondary School, Surajpol. The event was jointly conducted by the District Administration and the Divisional Employment Office.

Deputy Director of the Divisional Employment Office, Mukesh Gurjar, welcomed the guests by presenting traditional uparna and saplings, and provided an overview of the event.

Mukesh Gurjar informed that around 1,500 unemployed job seekers participated in the fair. A total of 44 private sector organizations took part and conducted preliminary selection of 719 candidates based on their vacancies. Out of these, 27 candidates were offered appointment letters on the spot.

Prominent participating organizations included HRH Group of Hotels, SIS Security, Pyrotech Electronics Pvt. Ltd., Geetanjali Group, Mahi Group, JK Tyres (Kankroli), SBI Life Insurance, Mahindra Finance, SS Crane Industry, Navneet Motors, and Equitas Small Finance Bank, among others.

Various government departments such as the Labour Department, Industries Department, Municipal Corporation, ITI, Lead Bank (SBI), RSLDC, Zinc Skill Centre, and RSETI provided information on self-employment and skill development schemes.

Under the PM SVANidhi Scheme, cheques were distributed on the spot to 12 beneficiaries. As an innovative initiative, a stall by the Legal Services Authority was also set up, where youths were provided with information on legal literacy and awareness.

Chairman of the District Legal Services Authority and District & Sessions Judge Gyan Prakash Gupta, Secretary Kuldeep Sharma, and other judicial officers visited the fair and inspected the stalls. Law interns also actively participated and received guidance.

The event was attended by Udaipur Rural MLA Phool Singh Meena, District & Sessions Judge Gyan Prakash Gupta, Secretary Kuldeep Sharma, Chief Executive Officer of Zila Parishad Veerma Ram, Joint Director (Jaipur) Navrekha, Joint Labour Commissioner Sanket Modi, Lead Bank Manager Sanjay Gupta, and Principal of Government Fateh Senior Secondary School, Gajendra Ji, along with other officials.
