Evening Chaupal Showcasing Folk Culture Attracts Villagers

Udaipur: Following the directions of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, public awareness programs are being conducted across the state under the Gram Rath Yatra campaign. Through these initiatives, information about schemes from 13 government departments is being shared in each विधानसभा area during evening gatherings.

As part of this initiative, an evening chaupal was organized on Wednesday at the Obra Kalan Panchayat headquarters in Gogunda, where public representatives interacted with villagers.

District Council CEO Virma Ram informed that the event was attended by former minister Rajendra Rathore, Gogunda MLA Pratap Gameti, former Deputy Pramukh Pushkar Teli, social worker Gajpal Singh, Sub-Divisional Officer Shubham Bhaisare, along with block-level officials including the Development Officer, Tehsildar, and Sayra Development Officer.

During the chaupal, villagers were made aware of various government schemes through an LED-equipped Gram Rath. Information was presented in an engaging manner through cultural performances, blending entertainment with awareness.

It is noteworthy that across all six rural assembly constituencies of the district, Gram Rath vehicles are being used to spread awareness about schemes related to agriculture, horticulture, agricultural marketing, animal husbandry, dairy, fisheries, cooperation, irrigation, industry, energy, revenue, Panchayati Raj, and rural development.

Additionally, each Gram Rath is equipped with a suggestion box, allowing villagers to submit their feedback and concerns directly to the government.
