Greater Kota Press Club Delegation Meets Lok Sabha Speaker

Kota : A delegation of the Greater Kota Press Club, led by President Sunil Mathur, met Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Wednesday and requested the early resolution of pending issues related to land allotment for the club and the lottery process for journalists’ residential plots under the housing scheme.

During the meeting, President Sunil Mathur and General Secretary Anil Bhardwaj discussed the pending institutional land allotment process at RK Puram. The Lok Sabha Speaker took detailed information about the matter and assured that efforts would be made to expedite the land allotment process at the earliest.

When the delegation requested allotment of plots at concessional rates, the Speaker stated that he would also discuss the matter with the government and make every possible effort to resolve the issue. He also assured that the concerns regarding obstacles in the Chandesal residential scheme for journalists would be taken seriously and resolved soon.

The delegation also discussed key civic issues, development concerns of the city, and other problems being faced by journalists.

Senior Vice President Hemant Sharma, Treasurer Badri Prasad Gautam, Vice President Hari Mohan Sharma, Executive Members Sanjay Verma, Lekhraj Sharma, Rubina Qazi, Patrons Pradyuman Sharma, Pawan Ahuja, K.L. Jain, Subodh Jain, Shyam Rohida, and Kayyum Ali were also present on the occasion.
