Director of Census Operations, Rajasthan Visits Sri Ganganagar for Census 2027 First Phase
Sri Ganganagar: Director of Census Operations, Rajasthan Bishnu Charan Mallick visited Sri Ganganagar on Friday in connection with the first phase of Census 2027 (House Listing and Housing Census).
During his visit, he inspected the training session of enumerators and supervisors held at Seth G.L. Bihani College campus. He interacted with the trainees through a question-and-answer session to assess the quality of training and issued necessary instructions to improve preparedness.
Later, he chaired a district-level meeting at the District Collectorate auditorium with census officials and reviewed the progress of census operations in the district. He issued important guidelines for smooth and accurate execution of the work.
The Director emphasized that the census is a highly important national exercise. He stated that every staff member involved should treat it as a duty towards national service and work with dedication and cooperation. He further instructed that special care must be taken to ensure that no household is left out of the enumeration process.
He also advised field staff to take necessary precautions against heat, including staying hydrated and taking care of their health during fieldwork.
The meeting was attended by Chief District Census Officer and District Collector Dr. Amit, District Census Officer and Additional District Collector Subhash Kumar, Deputy District Census Officer and Deputy Director of Statistics Sushil Kumar Sharma, District Census Coordinator Yogesh Bajaj, Tehsildar Sri Ganganagar, and Municipal Council Commissioner Rakesh Kumar, along with other officials.
