###Shayrana Udaipur Family to Host Grand Free Musical Evening on May 24
Renowned Artists, Young Talent, Ghazals, Bhajans and Folk Music to Enthrall Udaipur Audience
A vibrant celebration of music, literature, and artistic talent is set to light up Udaipur as the Shayrana Udaipur Family organizes a grand free musical event on Sunday, May 24, at the Aishwarya College campus. Known for promoting music and literary culture for the last 15 years without any commercial motive, the organization is once again bringing together celebrated performers and emerging artists on one platform.
The event will be graced by Indian Cultural Ambassador to Iraq, Dr. Dheeraj Prakash Joshi, as the Chief Guest. Distinguished guests will include Additional Commissioner of the Devasthan Department Geeteshshri Malviya, TRI Statistics Director Sudhir Dave, and “Shaheed Gatha” world record holder Manoj Anchaliya.
The musical evening promises an exciting blend of bhajans, ghazals, folk songs, Bollywood melodies, classical murkiyaan, and instrumental performances. Artists from Udaipur, Dungarpur, Rajsamand, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Kota, Kankroli, Pratapgarh, and Kherwara are expected to participate, making the event a grand regional cultural gathering.
According to Program In-Charge Lalit Goyal, the younger generation is showing increasing interest in the Shayrana Udaipur musical movement. He recalled how young guitarist and singer Hemraj Gandharv won hearts during the previous edition with his outstanding performance, inspiring many youth to pursue music seriously.
The event will also include interactive sessions where experienced musicians and singers will guide participants on the finer aspects of singing and musical presentation. A special jury panel will select and honor outstanding singers and performers during the ceremony.
The program will be chaired by noted educationist Dr. Seema Singh, who will also present a special experimental vocal performance accompanied by renowned artist Fayaz Khan.
Event Coordinator Abha Sirsikar informed that details regarding an upcoming music festival will also be announced during the event, aiming to provide more opportunities for young talent to connect with the world of music.
Adding a special attraction to the event, a “Lata-Asha Special” duet singing competition for women participants has also been organized. Apart from the competition, general participants and music lovers will also get an opportunity to showcase their talent on stage.
Free registration for entry is currently open. Entry to the venue will begin at 10:00 AM, while entry after 10:45 AM will not be permitted. Performance opportunities for artists will be allotted on a first-come, first-served basis.
