Geetanjali Organizes Special Mother’s Day Event “Maa Ki Pehli Muskaan” Focusing on Motherhood and Women’s Health
A special program was organized at the auditorium of Geetanjali Medical College and Hospital by Geetanjali Hospital and Preksha Entertainment on the occasion of Mother’s Day. The event was filled with emotional performances, inspiring stories, cultural presentations, and interactive sessions that beautifully highlighted the love, sacrifice, and strength of motherhood through various artistic expressions.
Additional Superintendent of Police Chetna Bhati attended the program as the Chief Guest. Senior retired teacher and social worker from Udaipur, Manjulata Vyas, graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour, while Bhanwar Seth, founder of Maharana Pratap Senior Citizens Institute, Udaipur, attended as a Special Guest. GMCH CEO Rishi Kapoor and Marketing Head Kalpesh Chand Rajbar were also specially present during the event.
The cultural segment included a Shiva Vandana by Kathak Aaharam, a presentation titled “The Bondage of Love – Kanha and Yashoda,” mother-daughter dance performances, group dances, poetry recitations, and a Bollywood-themed skit, all of which deeply moved and captivated the audience. Songs and performances by various artists added special charm to the program.
The event was hosted by Mahiya and Kapil, whose energetic and engaging presentation style added vibrancy throughout the program.
Keeping maternal health, care, and the important role of motherhood at the center of the celebrations, a special doctors’ panel discussion was organized on the occasion of Mother’s Day. Expert doctors from various departments of GMCH shared their views on motherhood, women’s health, maternal and child care, and family-related health issues.

As part of the event, ten inspiring stories shared by mothers were specially selected and honored on stage. All selected mothers were felicitated and appreciated with respect and recognition.
On the same occasion, a special Mother’s Day celebration was also organized in the Gynecology and Maternity Department of GMCH. The celebration included cake cutting, gift distribution, and heartfelt wishes for mothers, creating an atmosphere of happiness and warmth. The hospital family extended wishes for the healthy and happy lives of all mothers and their families.
The entire program was dedicated to honoring motherhood, family values, and the important role of women in society. Emotional stories, music, and cultural performances left the audience deeply touched and inspired.
