12th Divisional Tribal Talent Honour and All-Society Teacher Felicitation Ceremony to be Held in Udaipur on May 17

Udaipur: The 12th Divisional Tribal Talent Honour and All-Society Teacher Felicitation Ceremony will be organized on May 17 in Udaipur by Shri Mewar Vagad Malwa Tribal Society Institution. In this event, 50 teachers from all communities will also be honoured.

The decision was taken in a meeting of representatives from 10 districts held on Sunday under the chairmanship of Udaipur MP and central coordinator of the institution, Dr. Manna Lal Rawat. The meeting was also attended by Dr. Thawar Chand Damor, former IG and State President of Rajasthan Vanvasi Kalyan Parishad.

During the ceremony, awards will be presented in the names of tribal icons and inspirational figures such as Maharishi Valmiki, Mangarh Dham, Govind Guru Nanabhai Khan, Rana Poonja Bhil, Veer Eklavya, Limbaram (sports), and Veerbala Kali Bai. The event will also focus discussions around Beneshwar Dham as the central theme.

Institution General Secretary Dr. Shankar H. Bamniya informed that the ceremony will be held at Sukhadia Rangmanch, Town Hall, Municipal premises at 9:30 AM.

The Chief Guests of the event will be Cabinet Minister of Tribal Area Development and Home Guard Department Babulal Kharadi and Cabinet Minister of Revenue and Colonisation Department Hemant Meena. More than 600 achievers will be honoured during the program.

Participants from remote rural areas of Udaipur, Banswara, Dungarpur, Pratapgarh, Rajsamand, Bhilwara, Sirohi, Salumbar, Chittorgarh, and Pali districts will be recognized. Around 50 teachers who have played a key role in nurturing talent across these regions will also be felicitated.

Students who have secured gold medals in university examinations or have obtained PhD degrees will receive the Adi Kavi Valmiki Gaurav Award. Those selected in prestigious All India or State-level services will be honoured with the Mewar Veer Rana Poonja Bhil Talent Award.

Students who have secured positions in reputed institutions in fields such as medicine, management, engineering, and others will be awarded the Veer Balak Eklavya Talent Award. Students scoring more than 75% in Rajasthan Board examinations will receive the Martyr Veer Bala Kali Bai Talent Award.

Additionally, social workers who have made inspiring contributions across various districts of the region will be honoured with the Shaheed Nanakji Bhil Social Leadership Award. Athletes who have participated at international level or won medals in national and state-level competitions will be honoured with the Padma Shri Dhanuradhar Limbaram Sports Award.

During the event, the institution’s annual souvenir “Udaan – Ek Prerna” will be released. A cultural program and a documentary film titled “Gaurav Ki Rahen” prepared by the institution’s career counseling team will also be screened.

The ceremony will be attended by several dignitaries including MP and central coordinator Dr. Manna Lal Rawat, founder of the institution and former MP Raghubir Singh Meena, along with MLAs, former MPs and MLAs, former Vice-Chancellors, and representatives from the Tribal University as special guests.
