Nurses Day Celebrated at Mewar Nursing College

Udaipur:Nurses Day was celebrated on Tuesday at Mewar B.Sc. Nursing College, Udaipur. Several programs were organized on this occasion at the college.

The program began with the college director, Pankaj Kumar Sharma, garlanding the portrait of Florence Nightingale and lighting the ceremonial lamp. Sharma administered the nursing oath to the newly admitted students. He also congratulated the nursing students on Nurses Day by shaking hands with them and wished them success and progress in their careers.

In his address, Sharma said that during the COVID-19 pandemic, nurses across the world sacrificed their lives while serving patients and performing their duties. He added that the purpose of celebrating World Health Day is to spread awareness about health and healthcare facilities and to eliminate myths and misconceptions related to health issues.

College Principal Dr. Sandeep Garg shared important insights with the students regarding future changes in the field of nursing and ways to make the profession more advanced and effective.

Additionally, nursing students presented a short skit highlighting the duties and importance of nurses during their service period. At the end of the program, winners of various competitions were honored.

On this occasion, Vipul Jain, Jinal Joshi, Jitendra Sharma, Nilesh Kharadi, Rohit Meghwal, Aarti Katara, along with the nursing college staff and other distinguished guests, were present.
