Geetanjali Group Gifts Modern Science Laboratory Worth ₹1.5 Crore to Gangapur

In a major boost to rural education, Geetanjali Medical College and Hospital inaugurated a state-of-the-art science laboratory building at PM Shri Government Senior Secondary School. Constructed at a cost of nearly ₹1.5 crore, the modern facility was formally inaugurated by J.P. Agrawal, Geeta Devi Agrawal, and Ankit Agrawal.

The event witnessed an overwhelming welcome and felicitation for Chairman J.P. Agrawal by people from Gangapur and nearby areas. One of the most emotional moments of the ceremony came when J.P. Agrawal reunited with his childhood classmates and reminisced about his school days. Sharing memories from his student life, he said that the soil of Gangapur and the education he received there inspired him to move forward in life.

Along with आयोजन समिति अध्यक्ष Kailash Mehta, J.P. Agrawal also honored his former teachers by presenting them with shawls as a mark of respect.

Addressing the gathering, Chairman J.P. Agrawal said that education is the strongest foundation of life. He stated that studying in the Gangapur school taught him the values and lessons that helped him succeed. He emphasized that no matter how successful a person becomes, one should never forget their roots, homeland, or school.

He further assured that the Geetanjali Group would continue extending every possible support for the better future of students. He announced that more developmental works would be undertaken in PM Shri School as well as girls’ schools in the coming years so that children from rural areas can access modern educational facilities.

The ceremony was also addressed by Kailash Sodani, who praised the Geetanjali Group’s contribution towards rural education. He said that education is the strongest pillar of social and national development and noted that such initiatives serve as an inspiration for other institutions as well.

Kailash Sodani added that when industries and social organizations actively support education, rural talent receives new opportunities to grow and succeed. He remarked that the establishment of a modern science laboratory in Gangapur would certainly open new avenues for students’ academic and scientific development.

The event was attended by public representatives, social workers, teachers, parents, and a large number of villagers from the region.
