Anti-Drug Awareness Program Organized in Nirwana

Sri Ganganagar: Under the ongoing “Drug-Free Sri Ganganagar Campaign” being conducted under the leadership of District Collector Dr. Amit Yadav and District Police Superintendent Harishankar, an anti-drug night awareness program was organized in Gram Panchayat Nirwana. District Collector Dr. Amit Yadav attended the event as the chief guest.

Addressing the public, Dr. Amit Yadav said that while the district administration stands with the people in this fight, the real strength of the campaign lies with the citizens themselves. He stated that public cooperation is essential to make Sri Ganganagar drug-free. He appealed to people to stay away from addiction and also spread awareness among their friends, families, and society.

From the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Vikram Jyani and his team members Sahiram and Lakshya Jyani presented a drama depicting the harsh reality of families being destroyed and futures being ruined due to substance abuse.

During the program, members of the public raised their hands and pledged their unity in this fight, promising never to consume drugs in their lives. The pledge was not merely an oath, but a collective resolve to protect their village, their families, and future generations from the dangers of addiction.
