Development of Rural Tribal Regions Is the Top Priority: Dhan Singh Rawat
Banswara: Welfare schemes launched by the Rajasthan Government and the Central Government are benefiting local people in rural and tribal regions.
This was stated by former MP and senior BJP leader Man Shankar Ninama.
Ninama was addressing local youth, villagers, and public representatives as the chief guest during the Rural Development Rath Yatra organized in the remote rural area of Gram Panchayat Amarthoon.
He emphasized that better coordination between the Central and State Governments has ensured participation of common rural citizens in the development process. He also appealed to people to take maximum advantage of various welfare schemes.
On this occasion, BJP leader and former Panchayat Minister Dhan Singh Rawat addressed the gathering as the special guest and encouraged farmers to gain maximum benefits from cash crops.
Rawat also called for collective efforts to curb rising substance abuse and indiscipline among youth.
While addressing the gathering, he said that the present era is the age of science, computers, mobile technology, internet, and technical education. He urged villagers to ensure that not a single student remains deprived of education and appealed for enrolling all dropout, nomadic, and newly admitted children in schools to make the enrollment campaign successful and create an enlightened panchayat.
During the event, the Block Development Officer (BDO) presented details of all development works being carried out under Gram Panchayat Amarthoon and assured that no shortcomings would be left in future development plans.
Administrator Rajendra Kumar Charpota emphasized ensuring maximum benefits of welfare schemes for women. He also presented a detailed outline regarding public water schemes, electricity, roads, fertilizers, and ration distribution before the gathering and stated that the Rajasthan Government is making every possible effort toward development.
Several other speakers also addressed the ceremony. The program was conducted by the BDO of Ghatol Block.
