Prime Minister Modi is currently on a six-day foreign tour covering the United Arab Emirates, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and Italy. The objective of the visit is to strengthen India’s economic, strategic, technological, and diplomatic relations with these nations. During the tour, discussions are focused on trade, defense, semiconductors, water management, green energy, and global cooperation. In the Netherlands, special emphasis has been placed on water management and technological partnership, while the UAE has announced an investment of 5 billion dollars in India.
The Prime Minister’s visit comes at a time when the world is facing energy shortages, geopolitical tensions, and economic uncertainties. Therefore, the tour is being viewed as an important step toward strengthening India’s global role.
The 21st century is often described as the era of science, technology, and development, yet humanity is simultaneously facing unprecedented crises. During the COVID-19 pandemic, India not only supported its own citizens but also supplied vaccines and medicines to many countries, earning recognition as a “Vaccine Friend.”

Economic growth alone is not enough; sustainable development, green energy, and conservation of natural resources must become global priorities. Through initiatives such as the International Solar Alliance, India has already taken significant steps toward clean energy.
