Certificate Distribution Ceremony Held for the Eighth Batch of One-Year Agricultural Input Dealer Course

Udaipur: The Department of Entomology, Rajasthan College of Agriculture, organized the certificate distribution ceremony for the eighth batch of its one-year Agricultural Input Dealer Course. On this occasion, a total of 36 students were awarded certificates for successfully completing the course.
The chief guest of the ceremony, Dr. Sudhir Verma, Joint Director, Agriculture Department, advised agricultural input dealers to conduct their business smoothly and within the legal framework. He shared important information regarding the identification, proper use, and correct dosage of fertilizers, seeds, and pesticides used in agriculture.
The special guest, Dr. Neeraj Yadav, DDM, NABARD, encouraged agricultural input dealers to become not only vendors but also successful entrepreneurs. He emphasized the importance of providing farmers with accurate and scientific information. He also shared details about loan and subsidy schemes available in the agricultural sector.
On this occasion, Dr. M.K. Mahla, Dean of Rajasthan College of Agriculture, informed that more than 300 agricultural input dealers have successfully completed this course so far. He further stated that the 9th and 10th batches of the course are currently being conducted, benefiting nearly 200 students.
Course Director and Head of the Department of Entomology, Dr. S. Ramesh Babu, provided information regarding the safe and effective use of pesticides. At the end of the program, he expressed gratitude to all the guests and participants and concluded the ceremony.
Dr. Birendra Singh, Shri Motilal Ji, faculty members associated with the course, and students of the Department of Entomology were also present at the event.
