Grand Finale of “J.C. Bose Volleyball League (JVL)–6” at J.C. Bose Hostel; Vice Chancellor Interacts and Shares Dinner with Students
Udaipur: The much-awaited “J.C. Bose Volleyball League (JVL)–6,” organized at the J.C. Bose Hostel of Rajasthan College of Agriculture, concluded today with great enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and excitement. Held from May 18 to May 22, 2026, the tournament witnessed spirited participation from various hostel teams, where students showcased remarkable energy, discipline, and outstanding sports performance, earning tremendous appreciation from spectators.
The Chief Guest of the closing ceremony, Dr. Pratap Singh, Vice Chancellor of Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT), Udaipur, praised the successful organization of the event. Addressing the students, he said, “Sports are not merely a medium of competition, but an effective platform for personality development, leadership building, discipline, and positive thinking. Students should actively participate in sports alongside academics.”
A special highlight of the event was the Vice Chancellor’s warm interaction with hostel students during a community dinner. Dr. Pratap Singh sat among the students, engaging in meaningful discussions regarding student welfare, hostel facilities, and the academic environment. His friendly and approachable gesture created a strong sense of belonging and enthusiasm among the students.
On this occasion, Dr. Manoj Kumar Mahla, Dean of Rajasthan College of Agriculture, stated that such sporting events help develop team spirit, self-confidence, healthy competition, and coordination skills among students, playing a significant role in their overall development.
The program was graced by the presence of Chief Hostel Warden Dr. Hari Singh, Hostel Warden Dr. Girdhari Lal Meena, Assistant Hostel Warden Mr. Ram Narayan Kumhar, and Hostel Caretaker Jamna Shankar Meena.
The successful and well-organized execution of the tournament was made possible through the remarkable dedication, leadership, and organizational skills displayed by hostel students including Aryan Yadav, Harshvardhan Singh, Vishnu Gurjar, Manu Yadav, Govind Meena, and Jai Prakash Nitharwal. A large number of students enthusiastically attended the event and actively contributed to its success.
The event was effectively and gracefully anchored by Asaram Dudi and Dinesh Kumar Gurjar, whose stage management and presentation skills were highly appreciated by guests, faculty members, and students alike.
