Six-Year-Old Gaurik Lodha Enters India Book of Records After Playing Blindfold Chess Games

Udaipur: Age is no barrier to talent, and this has been proven by six-year-old prodigy Gaurik Lodha from Udaipur. At the age of just 5 years and 8 months, Gaurik achieved a remarkable feat by playing two simultaneous blitz chess games against opponents while blindfolded. His extraordinary performance earned him a place in the India Book of Records, bringing pride to Udaipur and the entire state of Rajasthan.

Gaurik’s achievement is not just a record but a reflection of exceptional mental ability, strong memory, and remarkable concentration. Despite being blindfolded, he accurately remembered every move in both matches and delivered an outstanding performance. Achieving success in blindfold chess at such a young age is considered extremely rare.

Special scientific training and expert guidance played a key role in this achievement. Under the guidance of Dr. Pashmina Jain, along with Jaipur-based ABC Brain Coach trainers Praveen Parik and Nisha Parik, Gaurik underwent regular training focused on sensory enhancement, timing, and mental concentration. Their mentorship helped shape and elevate his abilities.

The event was also supported by Twinkle Woods School, which served as the venue partner for the sensory enhancement program and played an important role in facilitating the achievement.

Gaurik’s family expressed happiness over his accomplishment, stating that with the right guidance, positive environment, and continuous encouragement, children can achieve remarkable success even at a young age. They emphasized that practice, confidence, and discipline are the true keys to success.

Experts believe that this achievement will serve as an inspiration for future generations. At an age when most children engage in regular play activities, Gaurik has gained national recognition through his exceptional mental skills. People from the sports and education sectors hope that he will continue to bring laurels to Udaipur and Rajasthan in national and international chess competitions in the future.
